Reading is a receptive skill just like listening therefore selection of materials is very important in teaching the skill. Student's level and interest are among the factors which need to be considered in the selection of materials.
These reading activities by using different texts that are relevant to students makes us reflect on how we could enhance our teaching in future. The visual literacy that we could apply and the different approaches that we may use aligned with the reading strategies enlightened us with different perspectives to teaching. Bravo.
