Brighton Education Group Presenters
Stephen-John Curtis
Stephen-John started working life as a Master Painter & Decorator and film and stage actor. Later he was awarded a Bachelor of Education with a Specialist Major in Drama Teaching K-12 from SACAE in South Australia. He has over twenty years teaching experience and curriculum design in Performing Arts and English for Secondary Education in Australia and South East Asia. He also holds a Diploma in Performing Arts – Production from the Victorian College of the Arts and a Trinity Cert.Tesol. He is an accomplished director set and lighting designer. Since 2011 he has been an English Language Consultant and English Language Centre Project Manager. He has produced a number of other projects as part of the Brighton team as well as writing curriculum, children’s books and working with the Orang Asli community. He is currently studying a MA ELT with University of East London.
Samantha Richards
Samantha Richards graduated from Exeter University with a BA
(Hons.) in Sports Studies. However, it
was her work with the international students at the university that led her to
Japan and her career teaching English. During her ten years working in
Japan as a teacher and curriculum writer, she completed her MA in Teaching
English to Young Learners and moved to Malaysia to mentor Malaysia primary
school teachers. She has served as an
advisor to the Ministry of Education and has presented at conferences
throughout Malaysia and South East Asia.

Welcome to the blog for the Brighton Education Group & Melaka Politeknik Workshop to be held on 6th & 7th of May. We are going to be using this extensively during the workshop which we hope you will enjoy.
